Dashi's menu is a mixture of Asian and Mexican food. It started as a food truck, which they still have, but now they have a brick and mortar, also. Many items on the menu (anything that says "Choice of Protein") can be made vegan. The vegan protein options are Marinated Fried Tofu and Seasonal Veggies. Options include tacos, a burrito, a banh mi sandwich, and pad thai. The staff seem pretty knowledgeable about how to veganize menu options.

Donato's Pizza brings another vegan pizza option to Summerville. They are a casual pizza chain that offers a vegan crust and lots of veggies. Unfortunately, they do not have vegan cheese. Included in the menu is a vegan "It's Greek to Me" pizza, which is cheeseless.
EVO Pizzeria - 1075 E Montague Avenue,

This busy pizza joint offers wood-fired pizzas that can easily be made vegan without the cheese. Note-only the olive oil, puttanesca, and roasted red pepper bases are vegan. The red sauce and pesto both contain cheese. There are lots of veggies to choose from and they usually offer one vegan pizza on their menu. Great place to go for a pizza and a drink as they offer beer, wine and other spirits as well. They also have a craft bakery on the back side of the restaurant where you can get great fresh bread.

Five Loaves is a casual restaurant with two locations (Mount Pleasant, too). They serve salads (ask for no cheese) and a vegan burger. Also, they always have a delicious Thai coconut hot pot on the dinner menu and often have vegan soups or entrée specials.

Mellow Mushroom-

This Mellow Mushroom location has a really cool vibe to it, keeping in line with all of the other locations. They have loads of veggie, tempeh and tofu options along with vegan cheese to top those pizzas and stuff those calzones. They also have lots of beer on tap! The North Charleston location is perfect after a day of shopping or if you are going to an event at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center or Coliseum. It is also close to the airport if you need a quick bite to eat before a flight. It is a great place for get-togethers as there is something for everyone!

The name says it all-Sesame Burgers and Beer is a casual restaurant/bar that offers lots of different beers and house-made black bean burgers with various toppings. Their black bean burger is vegan but the buns are not, so you can get your burger as a salad. The condiments here are made from scratch (ask for the house-made mustard-it rocks! Sadly, the house-made ketchup includes anchovy). And their fries are delicious!
Taco Boy-

This funky, casual Mexican joint offers a vegan chorizo taco, a tempura avocado taco, jackfruit carnitas, and black beans can easily be added to other menu options to veganize them. They also offer a veggie rice bowl and a taco salad. For all items, ask for no cheese or sour cream. Some of their flour tortillas contain lard, so ask for a vegan-friendly tortilla.
